Sunderland suffered a late setback in their game with Gillingham at the weekend as they drew 2-2 at the Stadium of Light.
The Black Cats had looked on course to really turn up the heat in their race for the top two spots this season with a win thanks to a late goal from Kyle Lafferty.
However, a goal deep into stoppage time for the Gills levelled the scores and the home side dropped points.
Of course, they are still well in contention for the top two despite that result but it remains to be seen if those two points that they missed out on end up proving the difference between going straight up and battling in the play-offs.
Away from the setback, though, at least one shining moment was this fine pass from George Dobson for Lafferty:

The reaction has been large to this, too, so let’s take a look at that now as one fan hailed ‘the most underrated player we’ve got’:
Cannot get over how good that pass was. Inch perfect and precision weighted. Brilliant @georgedobson97

Lafferty’s run is spot on, his speed and composure are light years ahead of Wyke
