Sunderland are not in action this weekend and will have to wait until Boxing Day in order to try and get three points on the board in Sky Bet League One.
The Black Cats have struggled this season for form in the third tier and under Phil Parkinson form has seriously nosedived from where it was under Jack Ross.
It’s been a managerial change that simply hasn’t worked so far and, naturally, fans of the club are urging that he is sacked before they have no chance of making it into the top six.
With that in mind, then, after David Jones took to Twitter to say how excited he was to be joining the club as a non-executive director, fans were quick to suggest a manager change should be high on the agenda.
Indeed, two names were the most prominent; Roy Keane and Kevin Phillips – so let’s take a look at what has been said on the social media site:

@DavidJonesSky good luck in the new role at #safc, be good to have someone with passion and understands the club in the boardroom. If you can influence your marra Roy Keane to get on board then even better
