Sunderland: Fans react as Bordeaux thank them for Josh Maja

Sunderland are looking to get themselves into a better run of form when their campaign resumes at the weekend after just over a week away from the football pitch.

The Black Cats are having a shocking time of things right now and look like a side that is very low on confidence, with few fans really believing that Phil Parkinson is the man to help get them out of the rut at the moment.

Certainly, they’ll be hoping for improved performances sooner rather than later, whilst they’re having to watch on as Josh Maja shows what he can do over in France.

He scored a hat-trick for Bordeaux last night as they ended up 6-0 winners in Ligue 1 and the French side offered up this tweet relating back to when he joined the club:
