Sunderland: Fans react to latest defeat for under-23 side

Sunderland are far from in good shape at the moment and the Black Cats need to change things quickly before they start having to seriously worry about relegation from Sky Bet League One.

It’s unthinkable to be assessing such a concept at the moment but, right now, the Black Cats are struggling for any kind of form or confidence and they need to address this horrible slide before it becomes a real problem.

The men from the Stadium of Light have plenty of work to do, then, and it seems as though that can be said for the academy as well with the way they are performing at the moment.

The youngsters recorded another loss at the weekend:

And, unsurprisingly, that has left fans of the club saying plenty on social media, as their youngsters have now lost seven in a row and 13 of their last 14, and haven’t won a single match since February.
