Sunderland: Fans still want Parkinson gone despite win vs Doncaster

Sunderland earned themselves a very overdue win at the weekend in Sky Bet League One as the Black Cats beat Doncaster Rovers away from home 2-1 in the third tier of English football.

The men from Wearside have had a torrid season up until now and Phil Parkinson has earned himself a lot of criticism from fans who feel, already, that he is not the man to get them going in the right direction.

Certainly, he’s got quite the mountain to climb in order to try and get things turned around but all he can do is win games and build on the result against Donny.

Even so, judging by the response from fans on social media to some of his post-match comments, it is clear that this win has done little to stem the tide of many thinking that he needs to leave.

There's a definite dig at the fans from PP in there like.

The suggestion that the away fans aren't always behind the lads is a disgrace.
