Lynden Gooch made his 100th Sunderland appearance during the club’s 2-1 victory over MK Dons.

The 23-year-old made his debut for the Black Cats when he played 32 minutes in a 6-3 win over Exeter City in the League Cup during the 2015/16 campaign, as per Transfermarkt.
His time at the club has seen him play across the Premier League, Championship and League One since that debut four years ago.
The winger posted about the landmark he has reached on his personal Twitter page following the game, while also taking note of the three points:

There was a lot of appreciation and love for the 23-year-old in the replies to the tweet, with one fan calling him ‘a club legend in the making’, while another saw him as a symbol of how things can improve at the Stadium of Light.
Gooch has started every Sunderland game this season, apart from the Carabao Cup match against Sheffield United, scoring thrice.
