Bohemian FC are hosting Aston Villa in a friendly on 24th July and the Irish club are delighted to announce that €20,000 can be won by fans in a Crossbar Challenge Competition.
Three lucky fans will get the chance to take to the Dalymount Park pitch and take aim for the woodwork at the Des Kelly Stand end with €20,000 lying in wait for anyone who finds their target. This game was made famous of course by Sky Sports’ Soccer AM.
The rules of the challenge are simple – you must hit the bar with one kick, without the ball bouncing.
For your chance to win 4 matchday tickets, a signed Bohemians jersey and kick for €20,000 at half-time at the Bohemians v Aston Villa game, answer the following question:

“Ticket sales have been brisk for the two games, given that Villa have strong Irish connections,” according to John Doran, General Manager of Bohemian FC.
Pat O’Shea of Participate Events, the competition organisers, commented “We’re hoping one of the fans participating in these events take some time to look at videos of Wolves in last year’s Soccer AM Crossbar Challenge, available on YouTube to get some kicking tips.” Wolves hold the record for most hits by any squad in Sky’s Soccer AM Crossbar Challenge. A quarter of their players successfully hit the crossbar in 2009!
