Aston Villa were sent back down to earth with a defeat against Norwich City on Tuesday night after a brief honeymoon period for Dean Smith and John Terry.
The new managerial duo had watched their side pick up a win in their first game in charge at the weekend and saw their side go ahead against the Canaries.
However, a late brace from Jordan Rhodes compounded the Villans to another defeat and Smith will want to get things put right quickly.
Games are coming thick and fast for the Villa Park outfit this season, with another on Friday night when they travel to Loftus Road to face Queens Park Rangers in the Championship.
And, according to the club’s official website, Smith could be in for a huge boost ahead of the game.
Tammy Abraham was forced off with a head injury in the defeat to Norwich, however, he is expected to be fit and available for the trip to the capital.
“Tammy got a kick in the head,” he said.
“I am sure Tammy will be fine for Friday. Albert [Adomah] would probably be a worry.”
The Verdict:

Abraham has been a key player for the team this season and his availability will be a huge boost for Aston Villa and Smith heading into the QPR match.
The Chelsea loanee has netted four goals in eight games for the Villans so far this season, which included the winner against Swansea City at the weekend.
Abraham appears to be the preferred choice to lead the line for the side, with the likes of Jonathan Kodjia and Scott Hogan coming on from the bench at times, and Villa will certainly need his goals if they are to mount a challenge for promotion this season.
