Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern have really enjoyed the last few games and you can understand why with the superb form they’ve been in.
And, whilst it may look a bit late to get in the play-offs (though they won’t be giving up,) it really does look like they’ll be challenging for promotion next year.
Indeed, Steve Bruce has clearly told his men that that challenge starts here in terms of taking momentum into next season and you have to credit the former Wigan manager for the job he has done so far.
Certainly, his squad management has been very good and when players are coming off of the bench – as Andre Green did last night against QPR – they are having a positive impact.
