Our landlord’s had to break the news to Manchester United fans propping up the Transfer Tavern bar that star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic looks set to be sidelined for the rest of the season.
The veteran front-man is leading United’s scoring charts by quite some distance this term, netting 28 times across all competitions – with 17 of those strikes coming in the Premier League.
But the 35-year-old was forced to come off during United’s Europa League clash with Anderlecht on Thursday night, an eventual 2-1 win, with a painful knee injury.
And although the club are yet to officially confirm the full extremities of Ibrahimovic’s injury, Sky Sports believe he’s unlikely to play again this season.

That has raised the question in the Tavern of whether the Swedish icon has played his final game for the club, with his contract at Old Trafford due to expire at the end of the season.
