Sheffield Wednesday are currently on their worst run of form this season but despite the mood around the club fans are still showing their support more than ever.
That is evidenced by the fact that the club has sold out its away allocation for the forthcoming match against Brentford, even though the Owls’ chances of winning are slim. One win in ten league games shows Wednesday are in a rough patch, though that win did come away from home – at Elland Road in fact, and that may be the slimmer of hope that supporters are holding onto.
Added to that, Brentford are flying high in fourth place, with one defeat in nine league games, as well as boasting a record of just three home defeats, with 13 goals conceded in 16 games.
That shows the odds are stacked against the Owls, which is why fans are impressed at their ability to sell out, showing their support is loyal and unwavering in all circumstances.
