With the Champions League back this week, the punters here in the Tavern are going crazy, football is well and truly back!

The punters have decided to look closely at the squads of Arsenal and PSG, ahead of their clash in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

In particular we are going to focus on players who currently play at Arsenal, and who’d be a perfect fit for Unai Emery’s PSG side.

It was a busy summer for the Champions of France that saw two of their better players in David Luiz and Zlatan Ibrahimovic head for the Premier League.

Our landlord has decided to select THREE Arsenal players who’d be a perfect fit for PSG…..

Laurent Koscielny

The experienced 30-year-old French centre-back would be a perfect fit for PSG.

The fact he is a France International would make it easy for the defender to slot straight into the side, with a knowledge of how a number of those around him play.

He would also be a great replacement for the departed David Luiz.

Having also played in Ligue 1 previously with Lorient, he has experience of playing against strikers in the league and will know what to expect.

Olivier Giroud

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic leaving for Manchester United this summer and Edinson Cavani not quite living up to expectation, Giroud would be an ideal player for the French giants.

Giroud like Koscielny wouldn’t have any issues with settling right in being that he is also French.

The 28-year-old striker is big in stature like Ibra, he may not have the same impressive goal scoring record but the tall striker would fit in well with the style of play PSG adopt.

Again like Koscielny he has had a great experience in Ligue 1, more so than his counterpart in that Giroud won the title with minnows Montpellier before joining the Gunners.

Aaron Ramsey

The Welsh International midfielder is a great passer of the ball, as well as not being afraid to have a shot on goal.

At still only 25-years-old, he is yet to be in the prime of his career just yet and has still been an impressive player both for club and country.

He’s proven he links up well with world class wide players and playmakers around him having already played along side Bale, Ozil and Sanchez so he would have no problem sliding straight into a side like PSG.
