Tottenham: Fans just can’t get enough of Harry Kane

Tottenham ran out 3-1 winners yesterday as they came from behind to see off Aston Villa at home.

The Londoners rallied back after John McGinn had fired Villa into an early lead, with a debut goal for Tanguy Ndombele setting them on their way before Harry Kane put a poor Champions League final behind him and got off the mark early.

Kane stepped up just when his team needed him to as they looked to keep up with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City. While these are obviously early days in the Premier League, the fact both of those sides so rarely dropped points last season is an indication as to just how little the margin for error is at the top of the division.

The 26-year-old – who was handed a decent 8/10 rating by the Independent – took to Twitter following the game too to share his delight at getting the goals and three points on the board, and there was plenty of adulation directed his way from the Spurs fans.
