Tottenham fans have struggled this season. The club has suffered an incredible amount of injuries as well as having had to get by without Heung-Min Son for two periods as he left to play for his national side. However, the South Korean has come back with a bang as he’s scored twice in two games since returning from the Asian Cup.

Son may have suffered footballing heartbreak when South Korea were eliminated from the Asian Cup at the quarter-final stage, but he’s come back to ensure the Lilywhites don’t suffer heartbreak of their own as he’s scored twice in successive matches to help his side maintain their form and keep the pressure up on Manchester City and Liverpool who are both above them.
For now, the Lilywhites have jumped to second after winning against Newcastle in yesterday’s early kickoff. With that being said, Manchester City host Arsenal later in a game that most fans are predicting as an easy win for the Citizens. Then tomorrow Liverpool face West Ham at the London Stadium, and the Lilywhites can’t see either of their London rivals doing them any favours. However, if Son keeps going the way he is, they won’t need to rely on any other side helping them out.
