West Brom: Fans love the arrival of Cheikh Diaby

Many West Brom fans are buzzing after the club announced the signing of a new forward.

Cheikh Diaby has been officially announced by the club, signing a contract until the end of the season – with the option of a second year – after impressing Slaven Bilic in a week-long trial.

Diaby has joined the club after coming through Le Havre’s academy after his contract expired in the summer. The forward was set to join Spanish club Valencia, but the deal was unable to be completed following a change of management on the Spanish east coast.

West Bromwich Albion are currently riding a wave of great form at the moment and have managed to reach the top of the table for the first time this season.

Bilic’s side top the Championship on goal difference after the club managed to record 22 points from 11 matches. There are just three points that separate themselves and seventh-placed Fulham.
