Loads of West Brom fans have responded to Matheus Pereira on Twitter, after the loan star shared a message with supporters following their win at Bristol City.
Performances don’t come much bigger than the one the Baggies put in at Ashton Gate on Saturday, as Slaven Bilic’s men ensured they stay four points clear at the top of the Championship with a 3-0 win courtesy of goals from Callum Robinson and Hal Robson-Kanu.
While Romaine Sawyers’ red card put somewhat of a dampener on proceedings, it almost makes the performance more remarkable, and certainly one that fans will look back on if they do indeed go up as champions this term. Pereira may not have been on the score-sheet, but the £6.3m-valued (Transfermarkt) loan man was at his creative best once again, racking up four key passes, per Sofascore.
With six goals and 16 assists to his name this season, it is no surprise fans are desperate for the 23-year-old to sign permanently at the end of the campaign, hailing him as a ‘king’ and begging for a summer deal…
