Many West Brom fans have been left slamming referee Michael Salisbury after he gave Fulham a penalty in the first half of their lunch-time kick-off in the EFL Championship.

Kyle Bartley was adjudged to have fouled Aleksandar Mitrovic in the penalty box, and the Serbia international then stepped up to slot the ball away to put the hosts 1-0 up at Craven Cottage within the first 20 minutes.

Mitrovic then scored again 20 minutes later to put Marco Silva's team in a comfortable position at half time, before the game descended into chaos after the interval, with both teams receiving a red card and Mitrovic completing his hat-trick.

A lot of Albion supporters went back to the decision that on-field ref Salisbury gave, and were not happy with it all, thinking that Mitrovic went down far too easily from Bartley's challenge.

With no VAR in the Championship, it put the Baggies in a very difficult position.
