The West Brom fans below are loving hometown player Romaine Sawyers following a tweet from the 27-year-old about his rise from watching the club to playing for it.

Sawyers was born and grew up in Birmingham, and was on the books at The Hawthorns, however, left without making a single first-team appearance.
Sawyers rejoined the club this summer from fellow Championship side Brentford for an undisclosed fee on a three-year contract.
Upon moving to West Brom, Sawyers said: “It’s been a long time coming and I feel like I have unfinished business. This is the team that I have always wanted to play for and I’m delighted I’m now going to get that chance.
“I left the club when I was just a boy with a lot of potential, but I am coming back as a man who has matured as a player.” (Source: BBC)
West Brom are gearing up for their Carabao Cup first-round tie versus fellow Championship side Millwall later today but supporters online yesterday certainly looked as if they were enjoying what Sawyers had to say.
Fans couldn’t hide their love for the Birmingham-native as they tweeted their love for him.
Here is a selection of tweets from The Hawthorns faithful:
