Johnstone endured nine loan spells over the years at Manchester United, and only within the last year has the shot-stopper managed to finally settle down at one club, becoming the no.1 for the Albion when he signed in 2018.
Indeed, the 26-year-old didn’t miss a game in the Championship last season and he has carried with him his fantastic form into the new campaign.
Although he is yet to keep a clean sheet and let in eight goals [Transfermarkt], Johnstone’s importance for the Baggies both this season and last cannot be doubted if this weekend if anything to go off and fans have heaped on the praise after his performance against Fulham.
Some have called the ex-United man the best in the league, whilst others can’t stop watching his sublime save against Fulham last weekend.

Had a great game yesterday and kept us in it all afternoon. Always been a great shot stopper. Get behind him and his confidence will improve.
