Some West Bromwich Albion fans were left in awe on Saturday afternoon after Filip Krovinovic put in a solid display in the middle of the park.
Although the 2-2 result would have been disappointing considering that they had been moments away from taking all three points (BBC), many of the Baggies’ faithful were pleased with what they had witnessed from the midfielder.
Indeed, according to the data collected by WhoScored following the draw, the Croatian appeared to be one of West Brom’s best performers over the 90 minutes and looked to make things happen for Slaven Bilic’s side.
The Hawthorns outfit’s 24-year-old eastern European managed to produce five key passes for his team-mates, have one of his two attempts at goal on target, whilst also winning two aerial duels as well. Defensively, Krovinovic was also rather solid as he produced three total tackles in a performance that earned him a match rating of 7.27 by the data website.
It is hardly a surprise when trawling through Twitter feeds to see that many of the West Brom fans were delighted with what they saw from their on-loan Benfica star in the middle of the park, with a plethora of them waxing lyrical over his most recent display.
