West Ham fans on Twitter call for U23’s trio to be given first team chance

West Ham yesterday evening overcame Blackburn in the Premier League 2, an U23 competition designed to give the top club’s younger stars game time. However, a lot of Hammers believe that their star trio of Josh Pask, Nathan Holland and Xande Silva all deserve a chance in Manuel Pellegrini’s first team.

The Irons overcame Blackburn 3-1 last night, with Holland and Silva both finding their way onto the scoresheet in the first half. The performance was one to savour from the goalscoring pair and the way that Pask carried the ball out from the back for the second goal was something that wouldn’t have looked out of place from a Pep Guardiola player, leaving a lot of The Hammers calling for the trio to be called up to the senior squad.

At the moment, there are a few so-called stars in the Hammers senior side that aren’t exactly pulling their weight, and none of the fans would have any issues if the likes of Holland, Pask and Silva were given a chance at their expense at The London Stadium. It certainly looks like The Irons have a bright future with some of their young talents and whilst Pellegrini certainly knows what he’s doing, the fans are desperate for the youngsters to be given a trial with the senior pros.

The Hammers are desperate to see some of their young stars given a chance in the first team and this weekend against Newcastle would be a great opportunity to see them trialled.
