West Ham United: Agent confirms transfer talks for Boulaye Dia as he drops six-word message for GSB

Speaking in an interview with French media outlet Telefoot, via le10sport, Frédéric Guerra, the agent of West Ham United target Boulaye Dia, confirmed that talks have taken place with the Irons and GSB over his client – but his cryptic six-word message for GSB indicate the move could be difficult to pull off.

Dia, who has lit up Ligue 1 this season, scoring 10 goals in 15 starts for Reims as he attracts serious intrigue, is emerging as a potential January coup for the Hammers – with this news indicating he has been approached by David Moyes and GSB as the hunt for a striker continues.

Dia agent admission in six-word GSB message

The forward’s agent, in a candid interview with Telefoot via le10sport, confirmed that talks have taken place – with Guerra revealing that the Irons are ‘interested‘ in a January move.

However, in a cryptic six-word message for GSB, the player representative simply stated ‘to choose is to give up‘ when entertaining the possibility of a move to east London for Dia.

Indeed, the agent believes that his client is better off biding his time and waiting for offers to pour in, as he confirms that clubs from Spain, Italy and Germany are also monitoring his situation.

Guerra said it would be a ‘security‘ to ‘choose West Ham this winter‘ – even if the east Londoners have been in contact ‘a lot‘.

Transfer Tavern take

There is a glimmer of hope for GSB and Moyes, however, given he hasn’t exactly ruled it out – but after the agent’s admission in a six word declaration, West Ham may have to pull out all the stops to get a deal done.

Given his goalscoring form, and the fact he could move for as little as £10 million according to Claret & Hugh, he has emerged as a real candidate.
