According to an exclusive update from le10sport, the prospect of Olivier Giroud leaving Chelsea for free next summer is ‘attractive’ to the player – with the Frenchman apparently tempted by a nice signing bonus as a free agent.
Indeed, as per this update from France, while Giroud is open to the possibility of signing a contract extension, he is also tempted by waiting until next summer as the opportune time to leave.

Giroud open to free exit
Le10sport claim the proposition of a signing bonus and free negotiations with interested parties seems ‘attractive’ to the £110,00-per-week star, coming as recent reports reveal West Ham are considering a move.
Club insiders Claret & Hugh first broke Giroud as a potential option given David Moyes’ lack of fire power up front, and it is now claimed that he is enticed by leaving on a free in 2021.
This could gift West Ham the chance to land him for nothing, with GSB potentially keeping a watchful eye on his contract situation as they search for bargain moves in accordance with the club’s financial capabilities.
Transfer Tavern take
An experienced international, Giroud would certainly add a degree of pedigree to West Ham’s firing line – not to mention physical presence.
Described as a ‘no brainer’ signing by pundit Danny Mills in an interview with Football Insider, the former England man also hailed him as ‘sensational’ – with it arguably being a potential great coup if West Ham bag him on a free.
It remains to be seen whether this comes to fruition, but the links are certainly heating up.
