West Ham United: Hammers erupt as Claret & Hugh drop promising Craig Dawson claim

Share

According to club insiders Claret & Hugh, West Ham United are ‘99%‘ sure that they will sign defender Craig Dawson on a permanent deal at the end of the season – prompting many Hammers to erupt as they hope their club snap him up.

Dawson has been a revelation since signing on loan from Watford last summer, even managing to keep the likes of Fabian Balbuena and Issa Diop out of the starting eleven at points.

He is now the main centre-back choice alongside Diop with Angelo Ogbonna sidelined, and Claret & Hugh now claim West Ham are ‘99%’ certain he will sign permanently as they support fellow insider ExWHUemployee’s reveal of an obligation to buy clause.

Indeed, if he makes a set number of appearances this season, which Ex believes is around 15-20 games, then the Irons have an obligation to keep him beyond his current loan deal for a fee which could be around £2-3 million.

Flocking to the C&H claim that West Ham seem all but certain to do just that, it’s safe to say there was no shortage of excitement from these supporters – find all of their best comments down below.
