West Ham United interested in Dominic Solanke

West Ham United failed to secure all three points yesterday as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium.

The Hammers simply have to be winning the games against teams near the bottom if they are to stand any chance of securing a European spot this season. Although, it appears as if they’re eyeing a potential January addition, as according to Sun Sport, West Ham United are keen on signing Dominic Solanke on loan in January.

Sadly, the 21-year-old has slipped down the pecking order at Anfield and Jurgen Klopp is poised to sanction a temporary exit.

And, it appears as if Crystal Palace are big fans, while West Ham are also keen but they would have to convince Liverpool and their young forward that he would start.

Of course, with Javier Hernandez struggling to fire and Andy Carroll currently out injured, it would be a sensible move for the London club to bring in more attacking firepower.

THE VERDICT:

Dominic Solanke has plenty of potential and could easily become a regular at Liverpool in the future, but the Hammers would benefit from having him more right now as minutes have been hard to come by at Anfield.

Indeed, the London club have relied heavily upon the likes of Marko Arnautovic and Felipe Anderson this season, so it’s about time they drafted in some attacking reinforcements.
