Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern have got some very long faces at the moment and you can understand why that is the case right now.
A summer of optimism to start with, soon became a summer of concern as the club struggled to sign the players Rafa Benitez wanted.
Indeed, it’s become clear since that there’s been a bit of cross-wires between the Spanish manager and Mike Ashley and that inability to truly strengthen has left the club looking in a weak position.
Indeed, the club has lost its first two games in the league so far and things aren’t looking too positive with the fan-base once again not happy with how things are getting done at the club.
