Leeds United: Fans bemoan referee choice for clash against Nottingham Forest

Leeds United fans were bemoaning the choice of referee for their clash against Nottingham Forest this Saturday.

It emerged yesterday that Oliver Langford will be in charge of the Whites’ clash against their promotion rivals, the official who took charge of their 2-0 loss at home to Sheffield Wednesday last month. The club have a horrible record when the Englishman has taken charge of their games this season, winning none of the three across all competitions (via Transfermarkt).

One fan clearly wasn’t happy as he labelled the official a ‘lunatic’.

How in earth is that lunatic England still reffing at this level? Don’t they get assessed anymore?

Marcelo Bielsa’s side will be hoping for a return to form in their clash against Sabri Lamouchi’s team, having won just one of their last six games across all competitions (via WhoScored). Fans seemed to be frustrated with the news that Langford will be taking charge of their game on Saturday evening as they took to Twitter to react to the news.
