Leeds United fans have been stating their fears about Marcelo Bielsa’s future at the club after events in his pre-match press conference.
According to Phil Hay, the Argentine was sounding defiant as well as frustrated after he fielded questions ahead of the outfit’s trip away to Nottingham Forest. The Whites have been in pretty poor form since the win over Hull City back in December, winning just two of their last 10 games across all competitions (via WhoScored).
Bielsa joined the club in the summer of 2018 and faced questions over his future after the Yorkshire outfit’s failure to achieve Premier League promotion last season (via The Guardian). However, he remained with the promotion hopefuls after talks with majority owner Andrea Radrizzani and has the club sitting second so far this season. Fans weren’t feeling sure that the former Marseille coach would remain with them as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Elland Road faithful:

If we are not careful and results don’t go our way in next two games he might walk? All us supporters need to get behind him and the boys. Some saying he should go are delusional. Have they forgotten Hockaday, Darko, Steve Evans etc

I think he walks at the end of the season regardless of the result

I really think that if this lack of trust/confidence could have the affect of pushing Bielsa away from the club
