Wolves fans were left absolutely fuming at the full-time whistle against Bournemouth yesterday. The hosts had been awarded two cheap penalties, one for what looks like a dive and one that was outside of the penalty area, as they fell to a 1-1 draw, and were also aggrieved that the hosts didn’t have at least one man dismissed.
The sides share the points at the Vitality Stadium after both convert from the penalty spot. The hosts had a chance to win it but Josh King saw a second penalty miss wide. #BOUWOL

The travelling side were awarded a penalty of their own in the end which Raul Jimenez duly converted to see the game run out into a stalemate, but the supporters will be absolutely fuming that the referee hadn’t put in a competent performance that would have seen them go back to the West Midlands with all three points as opposed to leaving with just one.
The journey north will certainly have been a bitter one. Two challenges, one on Joao Moutinho and one on Ruben Neves that will have been replayed over and over by Wolves fans as they question how they didn’t end the game playing against ten or even nine men. The first came with 20 minutes remaining when Jefferson Lerma caught Moutinho in the face with a stray elbow and the second came in second-half stoppage time when Ryan Gosling scythed down Neves, leaving the Wolves fans fuming.

The Wolves fans will be fuming that they didn’t get a win from the Vitality Stadium and will at least hope that they can bounce back with a win when they face Huddersfield on Tuesday.
