Wolves could sell out-of-favour winger Adama Traore for as little as £18m in the January transfer window, according to a new report.

The Lowdown: Traore's stock falls

The Spaniard has had a frustrating start to the season at Molineux, increasingly finding himself out of Bruno Lage's plans. Traore hasn't started a Premier League game for Wolves since the 1-1 draw away to Leeds in October, with the winger yet to register a goal or an assist this season.

The 25-year-old has been continually tipped to leave Wanderers in recent weeks, and another update has now emerged regarding his future.

The Latest: Fresh Traore claim emerges

According to Football Insider, a Wolves source has claimed that Traore could be available for as little as £18m in January, having been valued at £50m as recently as July.

The news is thought to have alerted Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp potentially keen on snapping up the Spain international, having once lauded him as 'undefendable'.

The Verdict: Time to part ways

It looks as though Lage simply doesn't see Traore as part of his future plans, in which case parting ways with him makes sense for everyone involved.

Wolves will probably have to sell the speedy winger for far less than they would have hoped, but receiving a healthy amount for him should still generate extra funds for new signings at Molineux.

Traore can be unplayable on the ball when he wants to be, given his electric pace, but a lack of end product is so often his downfall, with only 10 goals and 18 assists coming his way in 145 appearances. Perhaps that explains why his value has apparently dropped by £32 in the space of four short months.
