2 things to expect from Daniel Levy and Tottenham Hotspur in the transfer window this summer

It’s been a good season for Spurs in the Premier League and they’ve taken another huge step towards becoming one of the “big” sides in the division, much to the delight of the Tottenham supporters here in the pub.

Although they are probably going to be beaten to the league title by Chelsea come the end of the season, there’s plenty of optimism going around the club at the moment and they’re certainly going to be up there next season too.

But there’s a big summer ahead for Spurs and Mauricio Pochettino and Daniel Levy have some big decisions to make during the months ahead if they’re to take the club forward again next season.

There’s some big calls to make about the current squad and who might join the club this summer and there’s certain things that should certainly be at the top of the agenda when the summer months roll around.

So with that in mind, here’s 2 things to expect from Levy in the summer transfer window at Spurs…

Expect Levy to fight tooth and nail to keep Kane

Harry Kane is Spurs’ biggest player and without him at the helm of the squad, Spurs are certainly a weaker team.

He’s the local lad that makes the whole club tick but there’s likely to be competition for his signature this summer.

But Levy needs to fight to keep him at White Hart Lane. There’s a big future for him at the club and there’s a real need to keep him in North London over the summer months.

He’ll be encouraging Pochettino to get rid of the deadwood

Spurs are quickly becoming one of the bigger sides in the division and as they improve on the pitch, they need to continue improving on the pitch too.

And for some of our punters’ liking, there’s far too many players in this team that haven’t pulled their weight this season.

The likes of Jansson, N’Koudou and Sissoko haven’t been good enough this season and they need to be sold if they’re not at the required level.
