Arsenal target Alexis Mac Allister ‘would bring a lot of excitement’ to the Emirates Stadium, according to transfer expert Dean Jones.

The Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder recently returned to the Amex Stadium as a World Cup winner with Argentina, which has seen him attract a huge amount of transfer interest.
The Premier League playmaker has been linked with a move to the Gunners, alongside the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Juventus and Atletico Madrid, with reports suggesting that it would take an offer in excess of £50m to prise him away from the south coast.

Speaking to GiveMeSport, Jones insisted that whilst Mac Allister would be a perfect fit for Arsenal, he can’t imagine that Edu will be pursuing the Argentine at this moment in time.
The journalist said: “Mac Allister is a really good player, he would bring great energy and would bring a lot of excitement. I just don’t know that this is genuinely going to happen right now.”
The Verdict: Alongside Mudryk?
Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk is reportedly closing in on a move to Mikel Arteta’s side, but Mac Allister is the player that Arsenal should focus on landing before the end of the January transfer window.
The Argentine already has five goals to his name this season and is currently averaging 1.9 shots per league game, highlighting his predatory nature when in front of goal (WhoScored).
The Gunners are currently top of the table after a remarkable first half of the campaign, and potentially signing Mac Allister could have a significant bearing on whether they maintain their position to secure the Premier League title.
