Arsenal have sent scouts to watch three young wingers in Pablo Garcia of Real Betis, Bazoumana Toure of Hoffenheim, and Jean-Matteo Bahoya of Eintracht Frankfurt. The Gunners are beginning their next phase of recruitment, with sporting director Andrea Berta targeting u21 players.
Arsenal are understood to have tracked these players for the past few weeks, as GiveMeSport reports the club have initiated a European monitoring programme. Berta is targeting a streamlined approach that combines live scouting with data-driven analyses to build a detailed report of future prospects.
The Gunners are understood to be targeting young players who are technically capable and developing within top European systems. Garcia, Toure, and Bahoya all fit this profile and are currently among several names Arsenal are closely monitoring.
Garcia is primarily a right winger, and has made five appearances for the Real Betis senior side this season. He has impressed in the ongoing u21 world cup with Spain, scoring in their 2-2 draw with Mexico on Wednesday.
Toure primarily plays on the left for Hoffenheim, and joined the club from Swedish side Hammarby earlier in 2025. The Ivory Coast u23 international has provided two assists in his six appearances this season.
Bahoya (pictured below) is perhaps the biggest name of the three. He’s started the season in fine form, scoring three goals and adding one assist for Frankfurt in six appearances this season.
Arsenal eyeing three U21 stars for future

At the moment Arsenal are unlikely to move for these players in the immediate future, but intend to build detailed reports ahead of later opportunities. Mikel Arteta’s side has spent £250 million on seven new recruits this summer, a number that could rise once add-ons are met.
Among these signings are Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze who will occupy the attacking areas for the foreseeable future alongside key men Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. Arteta will have plenty of attacking options for years to come.
