The Daily Mail, are reporting that West Ham could welcome Diafra Sakho back in full training, as well as having Andy Carroll and Arthur Masuaku making good progress in their recoveries from their respective injuries.
The news has certainly come as a welcome bonus to the Hammers fans here in the Transfer Tavern, who were worried that the squad may never get to full strength for injuries, though it looks as though they are getting there.
Slaven Bilic’s men have seen a stuttering start to the campaign eased somewhat in recent weeks, despite losing to Everton last time out, and this trio of players will no doubt aid their cause.
The Irons have particularly struggled up front this season with Simone Zaza failing to find the net and Michail Antonio being put in as a make-shift centre-forward so the news that Sakho and Carroll should both be back in the side soon should aid their goal-scoring efforts.
In particular, the Hammers fans in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see the big man Carroll back, one said: “Andy just gives us that extra dimension up top. He really bullies defenders and when he’s in the mood there’s very few can stop him. It’ll be good to have him back in the side!”
How important could these returning players be Hammers fans? Let us know below…
