It’s been a dramatic transfer window for West Ham United and fans in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to the window slamming shut tomorrow night, so that they can call an end to all the craziness that’s gone on this month.
However, the Irons fans in the bar are still not quite content with their January business, despite signing the likes of Jose Fonte and Robert Snodgrass, and are seeking another couple of deals to bolster their squad for the remainder of the season.
With not too much left to play for this season except pride, fans want the signings to come in early for next season – giving new arrivals half-a-season to settle into the Premier League before making a push for European football next term.

Scott Hogan
The Brentford striker has been eyed by West Ham as the ideal forward recruit since late-December but we stand here with less than two days remaining with Scott Hogan still not arriving at East London – and a deal needs to be concluded.
West Ham desperately need a new striker for a number of reasons.
Firstly, they lack capable options. Secondly, Diafra Sakho is injured until March and, thirdly, Ashley Taylor-Fletcher would benefit from a loan spell with Leeds United- which hinges on a deal for Hogan being completed.
Hosting Manchester City on Wednesday night, and looking for revenge after a heavy defeat against the Citizens in the FA Cup third-round, the Hammers could welcome Hogan to their side in time for that game if a deal goes ahead swiftly.
Kevin Malcuit
French outlet Les 10 Sports have reported that West Ham have made a surprise approach for St Etienne full-back Kevin Malcuit, which was rejected by the Ligue 1 side, but the Hammers should return with another bid for the 25-year-old.
A capable and experienced defender, Malcuit has excelled with the high-flying French side this season and has attracted a lot of suitors.
Come the end of the season, the chase for the defender’s services could be fierce- so landing him tomorrow would be an excellent coup.
