Bruce Plotting £8M Premiership Raid

Mirror Football has reported that Steve Bruce will make an £8 million bid for Wolverhampton Wanderers striker, Kevin Doyle. Bruce views the Irishman as the ideal replacement for the departed Darren Bent, who joined Aston Villa in January.

Sunderland are targeting three strikers in the next transfer window, with Fraizer Campbell out for twelve months and Danny Welbeck returning to Manchester United, and Bruce has the former Reading striker at the top of his wish list. However Sunderland will only move should Wolves get relegated this weekend coming.
