This weekend represents a chance for Arsene Wenger’s men to get back on track though, with what should be a relatively simple tie against non-league Lincoln City.

A defeat to the minnows would surely spell the end for Arsene Wenger and his tenure at the Emirates, while leading to unbridled joy for the Shrimpers.

A game against Lincoln you would think would be ideal, but it could well prove to be not the case.

Lincoln can take heart from the current situation at the Emirates, and if they can nick an early goal, the atmosphere will sour, and play directly into the minnows’ hands.

Nothing to lose

For Lincoln, it is essentially a no lose situation.

The club stand to make plenty of money, and they have also beaten league opposition already this season.

If Lincoln throw caution to the wind and simply go for it, then they might well just sneak away from London with the result and one of the biggest FA Cup upsets in history.
