The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are, for the most part, behind manager Antonio Conte. The Italian led the Blues to a Premier League title win last season, and despite their inconsistency this term, he continues to lead the club with grace and enthusiasm.
He’s made some fantastic decisions that have really made him popular amongst fans. The rise of Andreas Christensen has been a particularly popular move, whilst the fact that Eden Hazard has gone from strength to strength under him has been wonderful to watch.
However, one move from the Italian that is quickly looking like a bad one is the decision to loan out Michy Batshuayi. Conte undoubtedly had a hand in the deal, as it was pretty evident that he just didn’t fancy the Belgian attacker.
That, though, is looking to be a poor judgement from the Chelsea boss, owing to the fantastic start that Batshuayi has made in Germany. He was on fire against for Borussia Dortmund on Thursday, scoring a double for the German side in the Europa League against Atalanta. Meanwhile, Chelsea continue to struggle in front of goal.
Indeed, Batshuaiy’s form has certainly drawn the Chelsea fans out over on Twitter, and their discussions are all based on the same thing – they’re all turning on the Chelsea boss.
They clearly aren’t happy about his lack of faith in Batshuayi.

I watched the Dortmund game vs Atlanta and i can boldly say, one of the major reason why Batshuayi struggled with Chelsea was because Conte did not want him and that affected his confidence and thats what strikers thrive on. He is a different player with Dortmund now.
