It was one of the biggest games of the season, and whilst Chelsea were expected to continue their fine winning streak and comfortably brush Tottenham aside – it was the Lilywhites that came out on top.
Dele Alli was, undoubtedly, the star of the show – picking up two impressive goals and proving his worth as one of England’s brightest young talents.
The Englishman has been on fire this season, and he hasn’t been able to stop scoring in recent weeks – and as a result, he looks destined to beat his Premier League goal tally from last season – despite the Premier League only being half-way finished.
As the Tweet below from Opta suggests, Dele has already scored 10 Premier League goals this season, leaving him with the rest of the campaign to better that record.
