Everton: Fans mixed on transfer links with Max Aarons

Everton fans have been reacting to rumours that Norwich City right-back Max Aarons is a target for manager Carlo Ancelotti.

The 20-year-old has impressed for the Canaries this season and won the EFL Young Player of the Year last season as the East Anglian side returned to the Premier League.

The England U21 star has a price tag of £30m (as per Sportsmail, via the Daily Mail).

The Daily Mail revealed that the Toffees are one out of several clubs vowing to bring Aarons to their club, with the likes of West Ham United, Manchester City and Arsenal all in the mix.

Aarons has currently made 19 appearances for Norwich this season and has averaged 2.1 clearances per game and accumulated a pass success rate of 79.3%, according to Whoscored.

Despite this, supporters could not come to an agreement on Aarons and made their feelings clear on social media.

One fan said that he would “have him every day of the week”, while another stated that loan man Djibril Sidibe is a better player and will cost only half of the price.
