The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern have been delighted with the fine form of Kyle Walker-Peters this season…
With Kyle Walker moving to Man City, the fans in the Transfer Tavern haven’t been feeling very optimistic ahead of the campaign. Tottenham’s defence has been their strong point over the last few seasons, and despite his misgivings, Walker was a key part of that.
However, Man City offered too much for the club to turn down, and so it was undoubtedly time to move on.
Fortunately, Tottenham have a homemade replacement for the defender – the aptly named Kyle Walker-Peters. As impressive as his namesake, he has enjoyed a fantastic start to the season, and now he has been rewarded for that.
As confirmed by Tottenham on Twitter, he has now signed a new deal at Tottenham having reached an agreement with his club, and the fans on Twitter are very excited indeed.
