Nottingham Forest have put themselves in a fantastic position to win promotion to the Premier League after a run of six wins in nine league games.
It is an interesting and impressive turnaround given they were without a win in five games between the defeats against Cardiff and Huddersfield in December. Credit must go to Sabri Lamouchi for rejuvenating his squad and installing a belief in his players, who have shown that they are capable of competing with the best in the Championship.
A convincing win against Leeds, who uncharacteristically had just one shot on target at the City Ground, proves that Forest are credible promotion candidates, and one factor has played a significant role. That is the spirit and camaraderie in the squad (as pointed out recently by Nuno da Costa), with every player seemingly pulling in the right direction and ready to fight with each other to win points.
