West Brom take on Stoke City this evening in the Sky Bet Championship as they look for an all-important three points at the top of the second tier table.
It’s looking set to be another frantic fight for promotion this season with well over half of the division seeming capable of getting themselves into the Premier League come the end of the year.
Certainly, West Brom look like one of those sides under Slaven Bilic and they’ve moved to strengthen their side further today, with the signing of Gareth Barry:

The evergreen midfielder dropped down with them into the Premier League and played a fair bit last season, but injury left doubts over whether he’d continue with the Baggies.
Indeed, his last deal with the club expired without a new one in place, but he’s stayed training with the club in a bid to prove his fitness and he’s evidently done that with the club confirming a new deal has been agreed.
