West Ham United will be desperate to return to winning ways after the international break as they failed to secure all three points against Huddersfield Town last time out.
The Hammers have been impressive in recent times as they continue to improve under Manuel Pellegrini, with a European spot still not too far out of reach.
Of course, with the January transfer window on the horizon and other teams looking to strengthen to help their own push for a European place, it’s about time West Ham started looking at potential additions.
David Gold, David Sullivan and Pellegrini managed to bring in a number of quality players during the summer transfer window, so they’ll need to go big once again in January to really impress supporters.
With that in mind, here’s a look at TWO stars that West Ham United should sign in January…
YACINE BRAHIMI

Yacine Brahimi has been one of the standout performers for current club FC Porto since he joined back in 2015, and he currently has three goals and two assists to his name this season.
A number of clubs are interested in securing the services of the winger, but West Ham shouldn’t have any problems in bringing him to the London Stadium after splashing the cash in the summer.
The Hammers have had to make use of Grady Diangana on the right-hand side this season due to an injury to Andriy Yarmolenko, so Brahimi could be drafted in as a direct replacement.
EMILIANO SALA

The Argentine has been in fine form in front of goal this season, despite his current club Nantes being lodged in mid-table, having scored 12 goals in 13 appearances in all competitions.
Sadly, the Hammers have had to rely on Marko Arnautovic to carry the main load at the pinnacle of the attack this season, with Andy Carroll out injured and Javier Hernandez struggling to produce.
Therefore, West Ham shouldn’t hesitate to bring Emiliano Sala to the club as he has been one of the most potent attackers in the whole of world football this season.
