The Belgian is a hugely popular figure in the bar and has recently been linked with a move to Inter Milan, with his current deal expiring in 2019.
Spurs are not thought to be keen on the idea of selling the former Atletico Madrid star, despite reported interest from home and abroad.
Any agreement is said to be likely to last five years should the defender put pen to paper, a deal in which he could reportedly double his money.
