West Ham fans aren’t happy with reports from Sky Sports that the FA could force the club to play a number of their remaining fixtures behind closed doors after the horrific scenes at the London Stadium following Burnley’s 3-0 win against the Hammers.

West Ham’s 3-0 loss to Burnley on Saturday was the club’s third defeat in a row by a three-goal margin. For some fans, this was too much to take as the clubs owners David Sullivan and David Gold had to be escorted out of the stadium before full time amid fears for their safety. Crowd trouble was a constant and after Burnley scored their first goal, a number of fans entered the pitch and confronted West Ham captain Mark Noble.
The ugly scenes in Stratford will no doubt see the club receive a hefty fine, however, the FA are reportedly considering making the club play some games behind closed doors. West Ham fans’ discomfort with their club has been in the news for a number of seasons now and the Hammers propping our bar up are still moaning about the club’s move to the London Stadium at the start of last season following their move from Upton Park.
