It was a cracking afternoon for Spurs down at White Hart Lane this weekend as they beat arch rivals Arsenal to keep pace with Chelsea at the top-of-the-table.
The Spurs fans lining the bar here in the Tavern were absolutely delighted with the victory and rightly so- the win more was than deserved and it ensures Mauricio Pochettino’s team will finish above their arch rivals in the table for the first time in over 20 years.
There’s been plenty of banter flying around the pub following the game yesterday and our Spurs-mad barman has been full of it following yet another convincing win in the last North London derby at White Hart Lane before the move to Wembley.
But according to some of the punters here in the Tavern, there were a couple of players that stood out amongst the rest as Spurs really proved their dominance over Arsene Wenger’s struggling Gunners.
So with that in mind, here’s the 2 Spurs stars that stood out most as Spurs beat Arsenal…
Harry Kane

It’s always likely that Harry Kane will get on the scoresheet these days- he’s a player that is always amongst the action for Spurs.
And he turned in another superb performance against the Gunners and slotted home a solid second half penalty to ensure his side won the game 2-0.
He’s got bags of talent and will be looking to find success with his side in Europe next season too.
Victor Wanyama

Former Saints midfielder Victor Wanyama has been immense in the Spurs midfield all season and he proved his dominance once again in the win over Arsenal.
He broke up the Arsenal midfield with ease at times and worked hard to make sure Arsene Wenger’s side didn’t break through at all in the game.
He’s become a real fan favorite amongst the supporters here in the Tavern too!
