The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are expecting a big win against Everton this weekend…
It has been a decent start to the season for the Lilywhites, but given that they have fallen short by just a few points in the Premier League title race in recent years, it’s important that they win as often as possible.
The game against Everton will not be an easy one, though, and it will be made far more difficult by Tottenham’s sizeable list of injury concerns.
As confirmed on the official Tottenham Twitter, the quartet of Lamela, N’Koudou, Rose and Wanyama are all set to miss the game as a result of varying fitness problems.

Danny Rose is arguably the most significant of these, but the rise of Ben Davies on the left-hand side has left the fans in the Transfer Tavern feeling confident. Likewise, Victor Wanyama is a massive loss – but Eric Dier has stepped his game up fantastically in his absence.
The losses shouldn’t affect Tottenham’s chances too much.
Landlord’s Verdict
Fortunately for Pochettino, he has a squad filled to the brim with quality and talent, and so four absentees isn’t a massive problem for him.
Everyone knows their place in the squad, and whilst players like Ben Davies might not be first choice, he always performs when called upon.
Everton will pose a big threat, though, and Pochettino must get it right tactically.
