Southampton’s miserable run of form at home continued last Saturday after they drew 1-1 with Watford in what proved to be quite a controversial fixture.
Nevertheless, in the end, it was still a game where the Saints were unable to take all three points, leaving them just one place above the relegation zone.
Ultimately, if things remain the same, manager Mark Hughes is likely to be given the boot with performances as well as results not being at a satisfactory level under him.

In contrast, under Hughes, that has not been seen with many displays having been absolutely dire to say the least since the Welshman succeeded Mauricio Pellegrino, which has only added to the frustration of supporters.
As well as the more attractive brand of football he would be able to get Southampton to produce, Rodgers also has a good track record when it comes to working with and developing young players, while he obviously boasts experience managing in this division.
All things considered, the Saints could do with some fresh ideas from the St. Mary’s dugout, and Rodgers is the kind of coach who could provide them with that.
