It’s time for Moyes to loan out these 2 Sunderland players before next Tuesday

It continues to be a miserable campaign for the Sunderland fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern, who’ve watched their side drag along at perhaps their lowest ebb in years.

While the Black Cats seem to be experts in staving off relegation, this season’s situation appears to be a tad more serious to the weary Wearsiders, who look like lost causes at the foot of the Premier League right now.

Though David Moyes’ ranks are a little light on the ground at the moment, the squad continues to retain the sort of unbalanced look that’s been prevalent at the Stadium of Light amid their various scraps to stay alive within the English elite.

Perhaps the idea of letting people leave at this stage of the campaign seems as if it would be detrimental to their cause, though the club need to look to the future as well. Loaning some players out, perhaps putting themselves in the shop window ahead of the summer, can help raise funds for next term.

Whatever division they are in.

With that in mind, here are TWO Sunderland players Moyes needs to loan out ASAP.

Joel Asoro

A very highly rated forward, Moyes simply cannot afford to hand Joel Asoro much of a starting berth right now, heavily relying on Jermain Defoe to score the goals that at least provide them with hope in the closing stages of the season.

With that in mind, allowing the 17-year-old Swede a brief spell away to further his development may be a wise idea.

Lynden Gooch

Another highly rated talent, is there really much point in keeping Lyden Gooch around right now?

The American has made first-team appearances this term, though the idea of throwing him at the deep end in these stormy circumstances at Sunderland may be too much too soon for the USA international.

Perhaps a dip down into the Championship would be better for his development.
